Scheduled Campaigns

A Scheduled Campaign runs a campaign automatically on a recurring basis, rather than requiring you to send it manually each time.

Requires the WhatsApp module.

Creating a scheduled campaign

  1. Go to Scheduled Campaigns.
  2. Click + New Scheduled Campaign.
  3. Choose the template, sender ID, and audience the same way as a one-off campaign.
  4. Set the recurrence — how often it should run.
  5. Save and activate.

How runs work

Each time a scheduled campaign fires, it spawns its own child campaign with a fresh recipient list, so every run has an independent, auditable execution:

  • Execution history — see every past run of the schedule, with its own send/delivery/read stats.
  • Recipients — see exactly who was sent to on a given run.

Excluding previous recipients

When building the audience, you can exclude anyone who already received a previous campaign — useful for a recurring "new customers only" style send.

Managing a schedule

Pause or reactivate a scheduled campaign's status at any time, or delete it (individually or in bulk).

Tips

  • Check a run's execution history before assuming a scheduled send didn't go out — child campaigns are the source of truth for what actually happened.
  • Use the exclude-previous-recipients option on any schedule where re-sending to the same audience every cycle would be unwelcome.
