Custom Pricing
Custom Pricing lets you move beyond a single catalogue price — set a different price per customer or vendor, applied automatically wherever they appear on a document.
Requires the MoneyPro module.
Creating a price list
- Go to Items → Custom Pricing.
- Click + New List and choose whether it's a selling price list (for customers) or a purchase price list (for vendors).
- Assign the customer(s) or vendor(s) the list applies to.
- Add items and their custom price — bulk-edit prices across the whole list in one screen rather than item by item.
- Save.
How it's applied
Once a customer or vendor with a custom price list is added to a document, YSUITE looks up their list automatically:
- If an item on the document has a custom price for that customer/vendor, it's used instead of the standard catalogue price.
- Items without a custom entry on the list fall back to the standard price — a list only needs to cover the items where pricing actually differs.
Managing lists
- Update a list's items or assignment at any time.
- Delete a list (single or in bulk) when it's no longer needed — this does not affect documents already raised under it.
Tips
- Use a purchase price list for a preferred vendor with negotiated rates, so purchase orders default correctly without manual overrides.
- Review custom pricing lists whenever standard catalogue prices change — a stale custom price can silently undercut (or overcharge against) your current rates.
