HRMS
HRMS brings people management into the same platform as your sales, purchasing and accounting — employee records, attendance, leave, salary and payroll all live next to the rest of your business data.
HRMS requires the HRMS module and, for most admin screens, HR Admin access. Employees without HR Admin access only see My HR, their own self-service portal.
What's in HRMS
| Area | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Employees | The employee master record — profile, bank accounts, identity documents, history |
| Attendance & Shifts | Check-in/out, shifts, geofenced work locations, regularisation |
| Leave | Leave types, requests, balances, the leave calendar, comp-off |
| Salary Structures | Salary components, structures, and the maker/checker approval flow |
| Payroll Execution | Running payroll, pre-checks, payslips, bank files |
| Statutory Compliance | Compliance schemes, employer tax details, gratuity, Full & Final Settlement |
| India Tax | Tax declarations, regime comparison, TDS, Form 12BB and Form 16 |
| Reimbursements & Bonuses | Expense claims and bonus assignment, both feeding payroll |
| My HR Self-Service | The employee-facing portal — profile, attendance, leave, payslips, tax, reimbursements |
| HR Reports | Attendance, leave, payroll, headcount, reimbursement and bonus reporting |
Two sides of HRMS
HRMS has two distinct menus, each gated by its own permissions:
- My HR — every employee's own self-service view: their profile, attendance, leave balance, payslips, tax and reimbursements.
- HR Admin — the administrative surface: employees, attendance, leave, salary structure, compliance settings, bonus, reimbursement and payroll execution.
A separate HR Admin allow-list, configured by an organisation admin, controls who gets HR Admin access at all — this is independent of the normal role/permission system, so HR data stays limited to the people who genuinely need it.
Getting started
- Enable HRMS under Settings → HRMS.
- Add your departments, designations, shifts and leave types under Settings → HRMS.
- Create employee records under HR Admin → Employees.
- Build salary components and a salary structure under HR Admin → Salary Structure before running your first payroll.
Tips
- Most changes to salary components, salary structures, compliance rates and gratuity settings go through a maker/checker flow — one person proposes a change, another approves it — so payroll-affecting configuration always has a second pair of eyes.
- Employees see their own record update in real time under My HR the moment HR Admin approves a change.
