Loyalty Programs

A Loyalty Program defines how customers earn and redeem reward points on their purchases.

Requires the Loyalty & Rewards module.

Creating a program

1. Go to Settings → Rewards → Loyalty Programs.
2. Click + New Program.
3. Set your earn rate and any other programme rules.
4. Save and activate.

Redeeming points

Customers redeem accumulated points at checkout — see Reward Vouchers for how redemption interacts with vouchers and invoices. Check how many points a customer currently has available to redeem from their contact record.

Other reward settings

General settings that apply across your loyalty programme — beyond the earn/redeem rules of an individual programme — are configured under Settings → Rewards → Other Settings.

Managing programs

Update a programme's rules at any time, or delete a programme (individually or in bulk) that's no longer running — this doesn't remove points customers have already earned under it.

Tips

• Check redeemable points on the customer's record before assuming a redemption request is valid — points earned under a since-changed programme still redeem at the rate they were earned.
