Statutory Compliance
Statutory deductions and end-of-service obligations — pension/social-security schemes, gratuity, and final settlement — are configured once and then applied automatically wherever payroll needs them.
Requires HR Admin access and the HRMS module.
Compliance schemes
Go to HR Admin → Compliance Settings → Schemes to see the compliance schemes available to your organisation's country (for example, a social-security scheme such as GPSSA in the UAE).
- Enable a scheme to start applying it in payroll.
- Create a custom scheme if your organisation needs a deduction that isn't covered by a built-in one.
- Disable a scheme you no longer need — historical payroll runs are unaffected.
Rate changes
Contribution rates for a scheme don't change silently:
- Propose a rate change, with an effective date.
- A second authorised user approves it.
- The scheme's rate history keeps every past rate and who approved it, so you can always see what applied to a payroll run at the time it ran.
Employer tax details
Set your organisation's own tax registration details under HR Admin → Compliance Settings → Employer Tax Details — these appear on statutory forms and reports that require them.
Gratuity settings
Configure your gratuity policy (where applicable) under HR Admin → Compliance Settings → Gratuity. Like compliance rates, gratuity settings changes go through propose → approve, and a full history of past settings is kept.
Full & Final Settlement
When an employee exits:
- Open Full & Final Settlement from the employee's record.
- YSUITE calculates the settlement — including gratuity and any leave encashment owed — based on the employee's tenure, salary structure and current leave balance.
- Review and calculate, then finalize the settlement.
The finalized settlement feeds into the employee's final payslip and closes out their record.
Tips
- Review scheme rate history whenever a statutory rate changes nationally — propose the update as soon as the new rate is published so it's approved before your next payroll run.
- Full & Final Settlement pulls the employee's current leave balance automatically — reconcile any pending leave requests before running it.
